Optorun’s Actions on the Novel Coronavirus

On Tuesday, February 11, with approval from local authorities, Optorun (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. resumed operations after the extended Lunar New Year holiday. The subsidiary of Optorun is taking all precautions against the novel coronavirus and working to resume production in earnest.

Through the subsidiary, Optorun has donated 1 million yuan (approx. 16 million yen) to the Chinese Red Cross Foundation to support the local fight against the spread of pneumonia from infections with the novel coronavirus in China, especially in Wuhan, Hubei Province.

Optorun expresses our heartfelt condolences to families of victims of the viral pneumonia and extends our deepest sympathies to those affected by the disease. We sincerely wish a speedy recovery to all patients and hope the coronavirus outbreak will end soon.
