Optorun Shanghai celebrated its 20th anniversary

Optorun Shanghai Co., Ltd. (Optran Shanghai), Optorun Co.’s subsidiary, celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Optorun Shanghai was established in December 2000, one year after the Optorun headquarters was established. Vacuum-related technology parts companies were rare in the Shanghai area at that time, but we started by forming a cooperative relationship with many local parts processing companies through providing guidance on the production of chambers and other vacuum parts, and gradually built up a local production network with strong capability to process and assembly vacuum deposition equipment, eventually turning the area one of China's leading vacuum parts industry clusters. Following the transfer of our mainstay optical thin-film equipment production from the head office factory, Optorun Shanghai started full-fledged operation, including on-site procurement of parts, assembly, production control, and quality control, and expanded its business scale to one of the largest in the world.

Optorun Shanghai is proud to have contributed to the development of the vacuum equipment industry in the Shanghai region. Now, in addition to equipment production, we have worked together with the Head Office R&D Center, to play a significant role in our group’s applied R&D activities at its production plants.
